The inaugural Global Psychedelic Week 2025 has officially concluded, marking a historic moment for the international psychedelic community. From November 3–9, thousands of participants joined a seven-day global celebration of healing, equity, and cultural transformation, connecting voices across continents through shared purpose and vision. The event demonstrated the significant economic and cultural impact of the growing psychedelic industry as businesses and organizations worldwide participated in shaping the future of this emerging sector.
With 140 speakers across 32 sessions, the online program ran with exceptional precision featuring scientists, Indigenous leaders, therapists, artists, and entrepreneurs shaping the future of psychedelics. Beyond the screen, the movement came alive through 105 in-person events in over 100 countries, bringing together more than 5,000 participants in community gatherings, workshops, and ceremonies spanning every continent. This global participation underscores the economic potential and market expansion opportunities for businesses operating in the psychedelic space.
Milica Radovic Mandic, Co-Founder of Global Psychedelic Week, emphasized the event's significance, stating that it served as living proof that psychedelics are here to stay. The decentralized nature of the movement, with people hosting circles, ceremonies, and meetups worldwide, demonstrates how transformation doesn't belong to one place but to all of us. This distributed approach to community building has important implications for how psychedelic businesses might structure their operations and market reach in the future.
Co-Founder Dennis Walker highlighted the unprecedented level of international diplomacy and cross-border cooperation achieved during the week. Indigenous wisdom keepers sat alongside world-renowned scientists and policy experts to engage in diplomatic, solution-oriented dialogue about critical issues including indigenous intellectual property rights, ethics around psychedelic medicalization, and the role of psychedelic therapies in addressing trauma in war zones. These discussions have direct implications for regulatory frameworks and business practices within the emerging psychedelic industry.
The energy throughout the week was described by attendees as reflecting the growing global momentum toward connection, reciprocity, and healing. Recordings of all sessions will soon be available for replay through globalpsychedelicweek.com, providing ongoing educational resources for professionals and businesses in the psychedelic space. Global Psychedelic Week will return November 2–8, 2026, continuing to bridge science and spirit, tradition and innovation, local communities and global consciousness, offering continued opportunities for industry networking and development.
